Possible short brief?

  This could be one of my short briefs, however I could expand it into a larger one, perhaps producing more than one cover.

Astrid Hubbe, further identity creating,

If I were to use an idea that used the three squares that were in her name, and also represented the bold, blockyness of her work, I considered some different palettes that have featured in her work. They came from her work and a display that was featured in one of her exhibitions;

How could these squares be applied? Do they work? Do they need a representation of her name/her name with them?

Last logo added to imagery, testing out,

Poetry Publication, thinking

I want to explore a further, more interesting approach to type and layout for this brief. I began to enjoy it more and started to design with it for my National Portrait Gallery guide.

I like the idea of communicating my poetry through using interesting and creative type and layout. I haven't yet decided on the full content, which poems, and what imagery to include (if any), and colour. What I do know is that as part of my practice, even if it's just for my own self-appreciation, I want to research, and design using abnormal type and layout.

I found this website http://explorationsintypography.com/, enables you to learn the basics by applying type and layout aspects to a given paragraph. Here are some images from the book:

I also found a link to Jihad Lahham's website, he specialises in visual communicating, I like his different approach to type and layout. I feel it could work effectively when writing poetry,

Astrid Hubbe, existing identity,

Astrid Hubbe has a website and has held exhibitions, however, she doesn't have a strong identity for herself,
