I don't have much of a theme that runs throughout the ideas that I've thought about for this brief. I have done context research for it and have found ways of expressing poetry through the way it is written/presented, so I feel the publication could be an exploration of variations of these.
Some are short poems/phrases, others are longer poetry I have written:
Intro page, a short poem, it reads fluently so I didn't want it to have breaks etc.. just a block of text, with a single word that sits independently.
I haven't considered typeface yet, i'm not sure whether it would change throughout or be the same. However this was an idea, inspired by a peace of typography I have blogged (DC)
this idea of vaguely portraying a sea then shore then beach, working alongside the poem itself.
combination of block and curves, travelling across the page and then back again.
An idea I have for short poem, spread across the page? large text. I don't want all of the contents to be too dainty/delicate.
I want to also explore that how the reader reads the poem helps explore the meaning behind the poem itself, for example:
the way the text is broken up, means that the reader reads it fairly broken, this could help portray the idea of someone running, out of breathe race. Can I show travelling through this?

This was a simple manipulation, I want to show the 'perfect imperfection' by having part of the words cut off? also having the poem at a slant. From this I have also decided I want to have different fonts throughout, of the variations of Helvetica Neue.
