The 'o' in 'roll' acts as a representation of a lens, and for each cover I can use it as a focus point on different photographs. Also, if the logo works well enough it could work as being off sided slightly. Certain letters of it could come off the edge of the page.
The logo could also work smaller, and horizontal, but personally I prefer it when it's slightly off the page. I aim to use different colours that stand out off the photograph, as either though I want the image and type to interact I want them to appear as two separate layers.
This concept works well with black and white photographs, because the colour stands out,

I feel white type works well over colour imagery, and if the colour of the image works, I could use coloured type.
