Postcards for AHU exhibiton,

There will be posters and postcards sold at the exhibition:

I have designed the packaging for the posters, and the bags that the products will be sold in.

These are the two I am printing, the line theme that runs throughout

Similar to a standard post card with the line next to the address details, however it follows through the whole page.

website for book brief

Constructing a website that works with existing Waterstones.

ebooks!!!

I have added the element of my work onto the existing website, I feel this would be the realistic approach to the brief. However, I want to adapt the page slightly, so when you click on it, you can see the elements of design coming through slightly.

DECORATE.

I actually like the design when it's just blue background with a white object, I prefer it without the line going across. Seems to work more effectively, stands out more.

Testing this design on other ebooks,

too much???

With this design I prefer the colour on grey, as appose to the white on yellow.

PDF of context book,

I am excited to see this book printed!! I hope the images will come out alright seeing as I did resize them and change their resolution to 300dpi!!!

We got our proof back, with a few corrections to make. Once a few tweeks had been made, i.e spine and cover aligned and perfected, and spelling corrections etc..

CONTEXT for Book brief,

I have chosen to use a paper bag, I think it's got a really authentic, classic feel to it. And ties in with the whole classic film - book theme. I also think it's different to other bag designs I have mocked up and suits the style of the books themselves. Using quite a rustic/textured stock.

Updating Roll website,

More context AHU

-----------------------------

If there is going to be a bag, then I had thought that there would be posters of Astrid Hubbe's work.
I thought that they could be packaged in this tube, which would have a subtle brand of the exhibition on it.

Poster of her work could have the logo on it? front or back??

Putting Syntax into context!

I chose this photo as it's a bit grungey, suits that gig/concert look. I whitened out the original image and then layered over my poster, multiplying it.

I added the reflections onto the poster to make it seem like it was behind the glass.
I want to give the image the feel that it is on o2 academy's building, so in the reflection I've added their logo.
